★ Mission Briefing

Chart the red frontier.

Every fleet needs a reason to roll. This is the story behind MARGE, and the very real moment in space that makes it land.

What MARGE means

The Mars Agency for Research and Geographical Exploration.

MARGE is a fictional space agency with a very simple charter: explore Mars and bring back the story. It began life on the Candylab Kickstarter and grew into a full SPACE Collection, a fearless crew, a fleet of distinct vehicles, and a frontier worth mapping.

The premise gives the toys something most toys lack: continuity. A rover isn't just a rover, it's part of an expedition, with a comic that tells you who drove it and why. That narrative is what turns a shelf of wooden vehicles into a world a child wants to keep exploring, and an adult wants to keep on display.

The moment MARGE arrives into

Mars stopped being fiction.

For the first time in a generation, the journey to another planet is a live, public ambition, argued on launch pads and in classrooms. MARGE doesn't compete with that story. It hands a visitor a piece of it to take home.

The destination · SpaceX & Mars

A self-sustaining city on the red planet.

SpaceX has put a once-unthinkable goal at the center of the conversation: making humanity multi-planetary, with Mars as the destination. Reusable boosters and Starship test flights have turned an abstract dream into a visible engineering program followed by millions, including the families walking through your doors.

MARGE speaks the same language in miniature. Habitat transporters, fuel tankers and rovers aren't random vehicles, they're the logistics of settling a planet, scaled to a child's hands and an adult's shelf.

The stepping stone · NASA & Artemis

The Moon as the proving ground.

NASA's Artemis program brought the countdown back to living rooms, crewed flight, a return to the Moon, and an openly stated plan to use it as the stepping stone to Mars. Each crew announcement and launch is a cultural event, and a retail one: a reason for a space exhibit, a planetarium night, a featured endcap.

When the next launch lights up the news, MARGE is the keepsake that lets a guest carry that excitement out of the gallery and onto a desk or playroom floor.

The throughline

From the launch pad to your last gallery.

Three steps connect a headline a guest saw this morning to a purchase they make on the way out.

The launch

An Artemis milestone or a Starship test flight puts Mars and the Moon back in the headlines. Curiosity spikes, and a share of it walks into your museum that week.

The gallery

Your exhibits, planetarium shows and programs turn that curiosity into wonder. A guest leaves the floor wanting something tangible to hold onto.

The shelf

MARGE is waiting in the shop, a design-led, screen-free object that captures the feeling of the visit and the moment in space, and turns it into a keepsake.

The Candylab craft

Modern-vintage design, solid beech wood, non-toxic paint. A toy on the floor, a design object on the shelf, made to be kept.
